Jennifer P. McKay has substantial experience in numerous areas of litigation, including, contracts, employment issues, insurance defense, Section 1983 claims, copyright, construction claims and various other areas gained through her representation of businesses and governmental entities. Her experience representing businesses including insurers and governmental entities has provided her with a wide range of experience allowing her to be an effective advisor, advocate and litigator. She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the United States Fifth Circuit Bar Association, the Shreveport Bar Association, the Bossier Bar Association and Georgia Bar Association.
Jennifer became a member of the George Bar Association in 1991 after graduating from University of Georgia School of Law in that same year. She practiced law for nearly a decade in Georgia. After relocating to Louisiana she was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 2000. Prior to law school, Jennifer attended Waynesburg University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a double major in business management and political science.
